Asian Love

Over at Angel's blog, I saw "Pay it forward", I was one of the first 3 to comment on a post of hers. Sweet Angel sent me a very nice RAK which I will share on my blog as soon as I get a picture. Thanks Angel, you are such a sweetie!
The first 3 comments on this post will receive a RAK from me. Then each of you (the first 3) do the same on your blog and so on and so on. It is a really nice way to share something with a fellow blogger. Thanks for stopping by and playing!

Now to the card !
The other day on SCS there was a challenge in which the embellishment used was limited. I am not sure what exactly it was called, but you all probably know the one I mean. Beate had used pine needles on her beautiful card, and another person used some discarded jewelry to make another stunning creation. I used horse tails on this Asian flair love card. Brown corrugated brown paper, Asian paper (source unknown), Certainly Celery (SU) Love symbol stencil ((Walmart). Brown raffia (Michael's'). Corner round punch (EKS).
Have a great Monday! Please email me your addie if you are one of the first 3 to post comment, have fun stampin'! Deb

May I ask what a RAK is?
I am still pretty unfamiliar with all the scrapbooking lingo (and blogger ling, LOL!)

I usually don't do Asian but your card is gorgeous and an inspiration to move outside of my comfort zone and try an Asian motif.

this is pretty cool. I am always fascinated with oriental cards, but have not yet tried my skillz at it. I just bought some oriental paper the other day too.... so I'll have to push myself to use them. Thanks for the motivation.

hugs,
Jen
