Fun Halloween box 2 ways!

MONSTER & CUPCAKE BOXES

I found a pack of boxes at Michael's that I thought would be so cute for a shadow box for my grand daughter, Bella. The box originally was intended for a cupcake, so I did one of those too! Added some candy corn around the cherry. Yum! The shadow box has pattern paper on the back (hard to see through clear plastic) and the sides are orange. Frankie is in there hanging out with a bat and a pumpkin. The cute ghost is adhered to the front of the box (inside). Kinda cute and spooky for a wee one!
I will be the recipient of the chocolate cupcake! Sorry Bella! They do have cupcakes in Canada! He he!
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by for a visit today!

Beate's weekend challenge

Thanks Beate for another great sketch!
This sketch was so nice to work on! It was one of those creations that I start and stop, and go back and do some more later and then go to bed and get up and finish it! I guess one would say I definitely paced myself! I won't go into details, but it was a challenge in more ways than one! I am pleased to have competed the sketch!!!
I hope you like my card, I think it turned out nicely.

Voila!

Bon appetite! Brunch anyone?
I have had this SU! set in my drawer forever, and it never had seen ink! Shame on me! Bad stamper! Do you think the SU! police will come and fine me? He he!
I started on this one the other day and slowly but surely completed it today! I think it turned out cute, and the pp reminds me of a funky Italian restaurant! I stamped him and then cut out his head, then cut out his body, and then his tray. I believe I ended up stamping a couple of images to cut out, Pop dots are beneath him.
I think I need to hire this guy to help me in the kitchen! He he! He makes me smile!

Have a great day!

Oh baby!

A pink giraffe for baby!
Good morning all! Looks like another gorgeous weekend here in San Diego! Fabulous nap on the Beach day...
Lunch with my DD Brittney yesterday was yummy! We had a good time together and she was a good girl and didn't text message her Blackberry to death! I hate that, and I have made that quite clear to my girls (young ladies, I should say). Wink!
We went to Toys R Us and bought Isabella a bunch of Mermaid stuff for her upcoming November birthday! Ariel all the way! Brittney is going up to Calgary next weekend for 3 days to visit my DD, sweet Isabella and Bennett aka Bennott, and hubby Kev. She will take the presents up with her and Domenica can store them away for Bella on her birthday from Grandma and Auntie "Birdie"! This is good then we don't have to ship the stuff up there! Bella will be 4! I am watching those airfares closely, as I would love to go up and surprise Bella for her birthday with Auntie Birdie! Her birthday is November 15, I don't know if I can physically make the trip, but I miss them so much! Britt is going no matter what ! They aren't coming down this year for Thanksgiving or Christmas either! Please pray for me, as I have been having a rough time lately and walking is very difficult, along with my other medical issues. So I just have to play it day by day for now...And count my blessings!
The card today is such a cute little pink giraffe all ready to greet a baby girl!

Uppsy Daisy!

Happy Friday everyone!
Well, I guess we all survived another week on the planet! Thank God!
I may have mentioned earlier in the week my SU! order, so today I attempted a card using Uppsy Daisy and some new incolors. I need more experience stamping with the silhouette stamps, as it appears my ink isn't very clear. Perhaps my color choice was not a good one to stamp the Kiwi Kiss on the Baja Breeze? I do like the combo though it is soothing to me.
Quick post, as I am meeting my DD (Brittney) for lunch in an hour and I am in my jammies still!
Thanks for your visits and any input is greatly appreciated! Have a wonderful weekend!

Brittney's birthday card!

Good morning stampers!
Today I can post Britt's birthday card, that she loved and received yesterday on her birthday! I love when that happens! The cute pink journal I had made arrived on time too and she loves it too! I think she really does and hopefully she'll even use it! Wow what a concept! (wink)!
How about these cute American Craft papers? Yummy! They are so vibrant and happy!
I was trying to find my way through a mile high pile of paper and such to create some more cards and it has become quite obvious to me ,that I must take an hour or so and get orderly! LOL!

Wee red angels

Good morning!
I have been in the Christmas mode, in between my fall mode! Do you think stamps can get any more precious? Sunday friends

Good afternoon!
Hope everyone is having an enjoyable Sunday! It is gorgeous here in San Diego and I am off to the train station to pick up my honey!
I received this darling image from my pal Diane up in Canada, and I just had to color it right away! Thanks Diane! I think the image is "Lilly and Tweet". Well it sure is adorable and wouldn't mind to have this stamp!
This cutie is also Allison's theme this week for her AFSS36 challenge! SNOWMAN CARD! I think I will go on a snowman run this week! Even though it is 75 degrees every day, but it is suppose to go up to 80, guess mysnowman will melt rather quickly! He he!
Be back sometime later (I hope) to post Beate's weekend sketch card, I have been stumbling on this!

Grateful!

I am so grateful! Thank you dear DH Pete!
Pete took care of my camera woes and Fed Ex made it up the mountain with my new Canon Powershot SX110IS! Whoo hoo! I love it! I am still practicing with the settings and such, but I just had to post a couple of cards! I am not quite sure why some pics I take come out crystal clear and others not as clear, I will keep reading my manual! I mess with the settings and then I need to remember what I have done! Duh!
Thank you all for your input on the camera poll each day! Pete read them daily as well! He visits my blog each day, how cute is that? (He works out of the area) All of the camera inputs from you were great and so helpful! There are so many ways to go with your choice, it can be daunting!
It is great to be back and able to participate again!
Thanks for your visits! Look forward to some sketches again!

Happy Thanksgiving

(click to enlarge image, may be blurry)

Good afternoon stampers!
My camera doesn't appear to be able to be revived! Wiggling and jiggling is not an option anymore! So my card for Beate's sketch won't get posted (frown) nor will a couple of others. I guess I will have to bite it and go to Costco and Best Buy and see what the best deal is.
I did have a card I saved the other day when I got the camera to work, so I can share this one today. The picture is not clear, so sorry! LOL!
Fun turkey stamp! (by Judith) I love him! Sentiment-$ bin Mike's.
SO no posts for a bit , hang in therewith me! I will do my best to do some catching up on my reader! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Back to preschool!

AFSS#33 ~ Back to school challenge
My grand daughter Isabella soon to be 4 years old, has just started her last year of pre school! My baby is going to kindergarten next year! The hard part for Grandma (me) is she lives in Calgary, Canada and I live in southern California! This is not a good thing! But I must admit, I love Canadians! They play hockey we surf! He he! Bella and I have much to discuss on the phone! Such conversations, she goes on and on I love it! She is a riot! (big smile here)! Cuteness moment: I asked Bella what she was going to be for Halloween, and she replied a princess (again)! I suggested she be a mermaid. Well, she was quite concerned about her feet and she was on speaker phone, and her Mom said she was looking down at her shoes with a very serious concerned expression! I can so picture this moment! The perplexed mind wondering how in the heck I am going to walk if I am a mermaid! She then remarked, I would have to be in the ocean Grandma! Oh I was laughing so hard!
So needless to say, when Allison had this theme as her challenge this week, I thought what fun! The card is on its way to dear Bella!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

They did the mash...they did the monster mash...

Gotta love the monster mash! This cutie is ready for his big night! Love those eyes, looks as though he had a rough night! He he!
I haven't made any Halloween cards, so I thought it was about time! I had this fun paper from last year and ran the orange and green paper through my CB Spots and Dots folder. The little bat is looking on and the orange satin ribbon makes it complete!
Happy haunting!
Thanks for stopping by, love your visits!
