Toadally!

Happy Saturday stampers!
Olympic mania! Oh I can't wait for the girls gymnastics on Sunday! I just love our Shannon! Gold all the way baby! My youngest daughter was state champion 10 years ago, I know how hard these girls work for this! It completely consumes ones life, that is your entire life! That is what it takes to be on top. My daughter burned out and decided that she just wanted to be a normal young lady! She accomplished so much, she will never regret or ever forget her wonderful years at the gym.
Now on to my toad card ladies! Ribbit, ribbit! Do you love him? I named him Timothy the toad. We had a house guest hoping around for awhile, the smallest toad you ever did see! I named him Timothy. Never could catch him, I hope he made it back outside! LOL! So when I saw this stamp of course the first thing I thought of was Timothy! He he!
The layout is from one of Beates WSCS challenges some months back. I do love this sketch and it works great for layering CB paper.
Card recipe:
CS-Pink Passion-SU! (Is that one of the colors gone now? I love it! Certainly Celery-SU! Whisper White-SU!
PP-Paper Salon
Stamps-Inque-You toadally
Ink-Versafine -black Onyx
Circles and dots CB folder, Marvy punches, word punch SU!
Chocolate brown satin ribbon-Michael's (doesn't show well in picture).
Thanks a bunch for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Deb

What a cute card, I love the embossing. Sorry I haven't been around. My husband left for work on Sunday so it's just me and Alex. I haven't made anything this week, except a birthday card for a friend. I wanted to play tonight, but I am so tired...I have been staying up late watching the Olympics. I think I am just going to go to bed and watch them there until I fall asleep.

hello..I am completely new at embossing and i was wondering about the green cardstock behind the frog. Is that called dry embossing? how did you do that? by the way, you make lovely cards. The Lord has truly blessed your hands! :) thanks

Deb, thank you for stopping by my blog and teaching me about the Cuttle bug. I would say that I am in the Stone Age in Scrapbooking and Cardmaking. I don't own many machines or tools. :) I will check on the cuttlebug. thank you again. :) Tereza
