30 cards for a 30th birthday party!
My daughter (Brittney) and I just completed all of her "big 30" party invites! The invites were originally to be a simple design for mass production, but this was not such the case! LOL! Britt wanted the tri fold and it took me a long time to cut each one out and score and cut the paper for the front flap. Britt loved the pink chandelier clear overlay paper with the black Bazzil shimmer, but the only problem was. nobody had any more chandelier clear, she bought the last 2 sheets! Then she found the cute colorful paper and we needed the teal paper, I bought all they had and we were still short! So a few peeps will receive a variation on the teal color and some will receive the chandlier cards (they'll never know)! I think they are both so nice! It looks easy peasy in the picture, as it was, just super time consuming for a novice like myself! The invite information stamp had been intended for a vertical card, so we had to wing it! Britt wanted her bling, so she was on bling detail and pre cut all the ribbon for me. I found on line the script number stamp set for her "30" for the scallop. We Strong magnets were adhered on back, so people could put on their refrigerator. At the end of the day, my dear Brittney is quite please with her invites! That is what really matters! The time we spent together creating these was so special and fun! Just tell that to my legs! LOL!
I just can't imagine someone throwing them in the trash after the party? OMG! I don't think I could bare to know! We worked so long on them! It just crossed my mind because you know that ultimately that's where they will end up! Oh well! (Unhappy face here)! We just need to think about how much they will love them when they open the envie up, right? (happy face here)!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
