Christmas flower

Happy Friday Stampers!

I decided to go with traditional Christmas colors using Bo Bunny paper and Bazzil red & green. The ribbon is from Oh My Ribbons & Bows. I punch the flowers out (EKS) several layers combined together, creasing petals to give a dimensional appearance. I placed a small red Prima and a green stripe brad in center of the flowers. Giga & Mega Marvy circle scallop punches were used. Edges inked with Real Rojo (SU). Merry Christmas stamp from a holiday mixed set (Michael's). Tag corner punch (SU). Glorious Green ink (SU) edges around sentiment.

Feeling the pink thing today! I love this adorable Poodle paper by Reminsce. CS-Pink Passion (SU) Chocolate brown textured paper-Bazzil. Prima flowers, mini brad and "just because" circle are from my stash. Pink w/brown stitched ribbon (from blog candy). Happy Holidays in August!

Happy Wednesday stampers! Another beautiful day to create...

I just adore this pretty green and gold Florentine paper by Paper Co. so I put it to good use! The moss green scallop CS and Burnt sienna/red & gold shimmer CS by Bazzil were used for flowers and sentiment. I used the Marvy giga round scallop punch along with EKS flower punch. I creased the petals for interest and dimension. Green bling in center! Harvest gold ribbon is from Ribbons and Bows Oh My. Sentiment stamp-Happy Holidays from Warmest Regards set- SU.

Real Rojo ink- SU, pop dots, EKS corner rounder punch, Fiskars scallop edge scissors.

Bella birthday note cards

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!

My best friend (of over 40 years) is having her big day today! I sent her last week these cute Bella real estate agent note cards. My friend is a realtor, and these will be just perfect after she sells a house! She called me and just adored them! So Bella is going to the office for all of the agents to view! My friend (Cindy) thinks people will custom order the Bella's! LOL!

Also included on this post is the fun birthday card I made for Cindy. She mentioned that the card is like a present too! Oh goodie!

Costco paper slab! Wild Asparagus, My Mind's Eye & Magnolia paper such a great deal! 360 sheets for $12.00!

I used the slab papers (3) along with Groovy guava for background paper. The slab paper has 3 coordinating papers with each design. Very handy indeed! Moss green textured scalloped edge card stock. The ribbon is from

Johnny's birthday card

A very special birthday card for a very special man.

The "set up"...

My DH just completed a 2 year custom showcase home for a very special person and client. The client is in the movie business, he does music scores. My DH built him a multi level audio room with many large flat screens and a sound system to knock your socks off! The house is amazing with no expense spared on anything! Top of the line all the way! So needless to say, we have been very blessed with this custom project and the doors that it has opened. Now back to the card, serious matters! The customer had a huge celebration for his new home and birthday party, so I had to make a card suitable for this occasion. Ahhh...the vintage look music sheet paper! Perfect! A little hardware and tag punch, stamped a great sentiment on the inside and we are good to go! The card was well received, and even better knowing that it had been hand made especially for his special day! Thanks for viewing my blog, that I love so much to share with you all! Deb

Happy Saturday stampers!

Flossie sent me some fun pumpkin images, and this is one I just adore! He just turned my life upside down! So much fun, and big hugs to Flossie! CS is Bazzil gold autumn harvest,.I colored the image with SU water color pencils and used ink gel pens for accent. I used SU's Soft Pastel chalks for the background. The Happy Halloween stamp is from Inkadinkado. and inked the edges with Orange ink. Ribbon-Halloween check from Michael's.

Butterflies Challenge

The butterflies stamp is from SU-the purple pattern paper beneath the vellum I believe is Basic Grey. The Hello stamp is Inkadinkado. Butterflies were colored using ink gel pens. TMF! Deb

Beate's weekend challenge #16

Back again... It's has been a gorgeous day here in San Diego, California! I enjoyed my gardening thing and a great walk through the groves with Lobie (German Shepherd) and on to card creations! TMF! What more could I ask for? I am good to go or stay in this case!

This card was fun to create, as I couldn't wait to test out my new tree group stamp from Rubber Stampede! I used Color Box fluid chalks on the stamp (olive pastel & yellow citrus). The yellow is more toward the mustard color which is what I was going for. CS by Bazzil with the exception Almost artichoke-SU. Embellies from Michael's Craft Store, as well as the ribbon. Tag punch SU. Brassy leaf brad-Oriental Trading Co.

This cute birdie paper by Heidi Grace and coordination paper is sweet! I am not sure if you can tell in the picture, but the birdie's bodies are a soft brush material.

The flowers are from Prima (of course) and the SU word punch was used for the stamped sentiment (?). Ink-SU-Lovely Lilac.

I received my blog candy goodies from Sherrie over at Cardcreme. Not only was the bag full of beautiful ribbon, paper and clear stamps, there was also an amazing card made for me by Sherrie! I can't stop looking at this card, her techniques and perfection dazzles me! Talk about inspiration, Sherrie has given me plenty! Thanks Sherrie, you are so sweet! Deb

Half Circles Prima Birdie card

HAPPY SUNDAY!

You know how all of a sudden a light goes off in your head, well this one just came to me, after I spread out my serious paper haul from a great scrapper store sale! Oh did I have fun, I was in the store for almost 2 hours! It was a blast, and to top it off Inkadinkado and Hero Arts were having a buy 3 and get one for FREE! So I stocked up on more fab stamps!

This card turned out nice, no stamping required on this layout, I felt it had enough going on without a sentiment on the front, so when I send it out, I can stamp accordingly.

The pretty Bazzil Harvest Gold textured shimmer paper rocks! The coordinating pattern paper is by, We R Memory keepers. The flower embellies are suede! Probably a faux suede that is amazingly real looking and to touch! I haven't seen these cool flowers before! They are also from WRMK (flower patch) and the stitching is so cool!

Gold gem bling in center of flower and the cute olive Prima birdie adorn the card. The ribbon was in a basket at the checkout counter, strategically placed of course! I grabbed it and it was a perfect match for my creation! (WRMK) . So, that's my story and I am sticking to it!

This card was made from scraps I had in my stash! The pretty blue shimmer paper (card stock) is by Paper Co. The purple paper was some random paper I found. I like the shimmer gold against the purple paper and the pattern paper byFancy Pants or perhaps Flair Designs, not sure! The glitter butterfly was recycled from a gift bag I had received. I just received this cute pumpkin stand stamp by Amuse. I love fall colors so much,I find it easy to get into the earth tones palette. These little stamps are just so fun! They have a ton to select from, hurry! Deb

The card stock is a great rust (Bazzil),that unfortunately didn't photograph true to color. The next layer is a shimmer pale orange (Paper Co.), and the striped paper is by Deja Views (Home for the Harvest collection).
