Healing hugs and prayers request please!

I am sadden to share that I my illness is putting a huge dampener on my card making right now and my life in general!
I do my best, as the ones that are regulars know, to keep on keeping on! ufortunately, I am not succeeding right now! I will try to blog around a bit when I can, however that in it self is a total chore and so painful to be at the computer.
Please forgive me due to my illness that this post is not a bright and perky beautiful card or project! Nothing would make me happier! I appreciate you all so much for your support. I will be back swinging, hopefully sooner than not, I just never know, this all has its own schedule!

Pickin' red apples

Love this darling girl image!! So much fun to color too!

Remember those Cabbage Patch Kids? My children had a slew of them and their pre nameds and adoption papers! They were about $50.00 back then wonder if the novelty wore off and they are cheaper now? They brought lots of joy to my three daughters.

I gave this card to my honey for our annie the other day. It reminds me of what we love to do together so much. Watching the sunsets on the sand with the waves gently rolling in. has got to be one of our treasured favorites! BTW, he loved the card!

Butterfiles and swirls

Pretty pp from last year and a butterfly stamp from an old SU! set and this card was created. Bravo Burgundy & a shade of blue (not sure by who) White card stock-PTI . Ribbon -Bravo Burgundy- SU! Corner rounder punch, gel pens.

I didn't stamp a sentiment on the front, for now it will be blank and when the occasion arises I'll know which one to stamp. Maybe I should have added Prima's too? I always could...

Thanks for the sweet comments on my Mom's big 90 birthday! It will always be a memorable day for all of us!

I made this card a little bit ago, and I hadn't posted it, so I thought it would be as good a time as any now to share it!

The image was sent me from my dear sweet pal Diane up in Ontario! Love her! The pp paper is from my use it up stash. The yellow card stock I do believe is MS. and the CB folder Hearts. The elephant is from High Hopes. ((I think)! The sentiment is a clear rub on. Prima flower and MM mini flower brad. SU! Soft chalks. A little tiny bling and satin ribbon cute as can be! Hope you like this ellie too!

Mom's big 90!

Mom turns 90!

Who's this guy? Some stray just wondered in!!! He he! Pete came to wish Mom a happy birthday and give me some much needed hugs!

The afternoon was a smash! The appetizers were amazing! We all got to go dinners, since we couldn't stay that late! Yummy! My SIL is an amazing cook to boot!
I had a very difficult time with my body cooperating, the drive and the afternoon did me in! I tell you though, it was so worth it to see the look on my dear Mom's face when she walked into the living room and saw all of us sitting there! I will never forget her expression as long as I live! Mom was blown away and all teary eyed! We made her day!
I am so happy to be back home on my mountain taking it easy! Real easy!!!

Happy Sunday stampers!

Well today is the big day as my daughters and I make the long trip 2 hours (for me) to Los Angeles for Mom's big 90 birthday! I wrapped up her hand made gifts and we are picking up the cake and flowers on the way. Lobie will be guarding all day, and I am sure by 4 PM wishing he could relieve himself! Poor guy! He would never blow it, it would be too bummed! Funny how sensitive my German Shep is! Gotta love that Lobie dog!

Warm Winter Wishes

I saw a really good movie Wednesday, Flash Of Genius with Jim Carey. It is about an inventor (true story) whom presented his intermittent windshield wipers to Ford Motor Company and the story of how they stole this invention from him. I recommend this one folks!

Since my Pink Cat Studio Lily & Tweet arrived I habe been enjoying coloring the images! What else is new? I love to color! I found the MS snowflake 30% off at Michael's, so I played around with that too!

California dreaming...

Good morning!

Remember that great song by the Mommas and the Poppas? If you do you were probably a flower child! Peace, love stop the Vietnam war etc...Sound familiar? Same as it ever was! For some reason the "Dreams" sentiment triggered that! LOL!

My card today is the first time I have used this wonderful set Dreams au jour by SU! My SIL has a hula dance event coming up and she has worked so hard with top dancers to hula. It is a big deal on local TV there and has been her commitment and dream for 4 years. So this card is on its way to Kauai! So that's the story!

Good morning all!

Today is going to be warm and lovely! I am loving this fabulous weather, it just makes me feel so blessed!

I received my Pink Cat Studio stamp set "Lily & Tweet"! I adore it too! It's so much fun to color and I oh you know I love to color!

On a family note...

My Mom will be 90 years old Sunday! The girls and I are making the journey to Los Angeles to surprise her with a tier of yummy cupcakes and lots of love! I am working on some note cards for her with my Just Rite monogram set. Just simple ones for her to have on hand.

My daughter Brittney is driving , (I get to see her place in Newport Beach! Oooh la la!) it will be exhausting for me, but we have to make it up there!

My darling grand daughter Isabella ,made me a card and picked out at Michael's stickers that look like Lobie (she just adores him) with her Mommy's help, I also received my SU! ribbon from a "go in on ribbon" order! Lemon Tart meets Pink Passion

Yellow Tart is giving me a tough time to photograph! The first view looks a bit more yellow then the other ones. The other views look celery!?? I need to practice this one! Darn it is such a nice color too! October already!
Doesn't it seem like we were just watching fireworks just the other day? My goodness, time is zooming by us!
Much of the country and Canada, will experience now a beautiful turn of events, as the leafs go through their incredible color change show to dropping off completely for the winter. Winter? What's that? He he! I must say I do miss the leaves turning here in San Diego! So is it leaves turning or 80 on Christmas? I think I will stay in San Diego!
Today is 90 degrees! A bit warm for me! I had to turn on the air conditioner! It is to cool down and perhaps we will get 10 drops of rain that we so desperately need over the weekend. LOL!
I have been playing around with the CB Christmas tree folder and I recently received the Yellow Tart (yummy) from PTI and I thought I would give it a go! The only problem is the yellow looks celery on my screen! I guess I need to try another lightning situation! It just didn't pick up Yellow Tart, so nice IRL!

It is such a lovely color! Sometimes it is fun to change from the norm on Christmas card colors! I'll have another one or two to show you tomorrow.
